Reasonable questions.
The ones worth asking before spending a run, answered without marketing.
Is this just an LLM guessing?
No. It is a reading of the current market signal: how badly people want the thing, how crowded the space is, how buildable a first version looks. Every claim about pain or demand carries a citation back to the review or thread it came from. It replaces a week of manual research, not judgement.
What happens if a run finds nothing?
It does not count against your monthly quota. If the scrapers come back empty or a model call fails, the run is refunded automatically and you see why.
Why score my city separately?
Because a global number is useless for a business bound to one place. A crochet studio in Bengaluru competes with shops in Bengaluru, at Bengaluru prices, through Bengaluru channels. So the report sizes the world market and your local one separately, and scores each on its own.
What counts as a run?
One validation of one idea, or one research run on a tracked topic. Both draw on the same monthly allowance, so your cost is a single number regardless of the mix.
Does it work for things that are not apps?
That is most of what it is for. The first pass works out what the business actually is and picks sources to match — marketplaces for handmade goods, crowdfunding for devices, local directories for a shop. App stores are only searched when the competitors are genuinely apps.
Do you keep my ideas?
Your reports are yours and stay in your history until you delete them. Deleting your account purges every validation, job, topic and report you own.
